FirstTeam Real Estate agent Christine Bova closed an impressive $5 million in total transactions for the month of April, placing her among the top-performing agents in our Huntington Beach Seacliff Office. A powerhouse attorney and broker, Christine's unique skillset, extensive local connections, and natural ability to connect with others make her stand out among the competition. What would you say is your greatest strength?I am passionate about my family, philanthropy, and doing my job to the best of my ability. I have served on various committees such as 44 Women—an affiliate of Orangewood, Huntington Beach High School Foundation and Football Booster Club, and the Presidents Circle for Orange County School of the Arts, just to name a few.Through my involvement with the community, I am fortunate to have an extensive professional network in Orange County, which has been beneficial in allowing me to uncover and assist my clients even better, helping them purchase amazing properties not publicly listed on the MLS, as well as discreetly selling. What tools, resources, and techniques have helped your business thrive?FirstTeam's tools, mentor agents, and the guidance of my office manager Jeana Sander have been key components of my success. I use our internal communications platform in all areas of my business and our DIY marketing software for professional-looking materials. Of the four luxury real estate sales I closed in April, three of the transactions were backup offers, and another I secured for my client through targeted outreach with an "I have a buyer letter."What sets you apart from other agents in the industry?I not only enjoy connecting with my clients but educating them on all of the financial benefits of real estate while keeping the risks and liabilities that may arise at the forefront of my mind thanks to my background in law. I learned early on myself that smart real estate transactions can provide financial security when I purchased, and later sold, my first home in Turtle Rock. The proceeds of that sale allowed me to pay off my entire law school loan right after I graduated! As an active member of the State Bar of California, I began my career as an attorney in criminal defense and civil litigation. And prior to my legal career, I earned an MBA degree which helps me succinctly address the core needs of my clients and develop an effective plan to get them where they need to be.If you could sell anyone's house - alive or dead - who would it be and why?John Wayne. His home on Bayshores Drive in Newport Beach is so special with such a rich history of stories to tell. When I was younger, I used to cruise along the harbor and I would regularly see the property being used for entertainment and events. Nicholas Cage also lived next door for a time, so the marketing for selling such a unique location would be really fun and exciting!
