Proximity to work, good schools, and entertainment are at the top of every homebuyer’s wish list, but it’s also been a growing trend for homebuyers to value mixed urban walkable areas. Which makes a whole lot of sense when you see that buyers are valuing access to public transit more than ever.
HNTB conducted a survey and found that more than half, 55% to be exact, of Americans so value the ability to get to work and play without using a vehicle that they are willing to pay more for their mortgage or rent in order to have this option.
