Veterans Day is this Friday, November 11th and there are tons of great deals and discounts for veterans to enjoy including free and discounted meals, plus free and discounted entrance into theme parks and shows. Here are all the ways Southern California businesses are saying thank you to service men and women this year.
Meal Deals
Chipotle: Active duty military, reserves, National Guard, veterans and spouses get a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deal from 3PM to close on burritos, bowls, salads and tacos.
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: The BBQ house is celebrating Military Family Month. Throughout the whole month of November, U.S. Active Duty Military and Veterans can get 20% off their purchase.
California Pizza Kitchen: CPK locations are offering a free entre when you come in uniform or show valid military ID. Choose from a set menu of pizzas, salads, and pastas.
Chili’s: All US Veterans and Active Duty Personnel can enjoy a meal on us all day on Friday.
Aplebee’s: The restaurant chain is offering free meals to veterans and active duty military on Friday, November 11th.
El Torito: Veterans and active-duty military can select one complimentary item from a special menu from 11AM – 10PM this Friday.
Hooters: Who’s craving wings? Military eat free at Hooters on Veteran’s Day. All active and retired military can enjoy a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans day menu by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location nationwide.
Denny’s: Stop by for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Friday, November 11th from 5AM to 12PM noon.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans or active duty military personnel not only get a free small order of wings (10-12 traditional or boneless wings), but a side of fries too. Score.
McDonald’s: This Friday from 11AM-11PM active and retired military can receive their choice of medium sized fries or a baked apple pie for free at participating SoCal locations.
IHOP: Veterans can enjoy a stack of free red, white, and blue pancakes at IHOP this Friday. Buttermilk Pancakes with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping are free at participating locations between 7AM and 7PM, and some locations are throwing eggs, hasbrowns and bacon or sausage into the free breakfast mix.

California State Parks: California State Parks honors the service of veterans, as well as active and reserve personnel, by offering free admission at 143 participating state parks on Veteran’s Day. Great reason to explore some natural beauty!
Pirate’s Dinner Adventure: Former and active military members can enjoy a free show and their guests will receive special military pricing. Rrrrrrrgh you going to take advantage?
Lyon Air Museum: This Veterans Day the museum will offer free admission to United States Military Veterans and a chance for one lucky veteran to receive a flight in a Texan T-6. Additionally, all museum guests will have a chance to tour through the cockpit of a North American B-25.
SeaWorld San Diego: Through the Waves of Honor Veterans Salute, military veterans (and up to 3 guests) can receive free single-day admission into SeaWorld San Diego. That’s right, not just on Veteran’s Day! The offer is online only with a valid ID, and it cannot be redeemed at the park’s front gate. Offer is good until Dec. 31, 2016.
Knott’s Berry Farm: All U.S. veterans, retired and active military personnel and a guest can receive free admission, as well as discounts for up to 6 additional people for $27 until Nov. 18. From Nov. 28-Dec. 16, tickets will be $30 for the additional guests.
Queen Mary: The Queen Mary is proud to offer free admission to active service members of the armed forces, retired military personnel and veterans. Special 30% discount will be available for their family members.
Six Flags: Eligible active and veteran service men and women will receive a free park admission ticket to enjoy the park this day. In addition, military members can bring up to three guests for only $39.99 each
