Liza Ferer of our First Team Dana Point Office recently closed the second-highest transaction in the HISTORY of Aliso Viejo1, representing both the buyer and seller of the record sale at 73 Santa Barbara Drive. Situated on one of the best view lots in the Glenwood community, the home features a resort-style backyard complete with a Koi Pond, a 6-foot-tall fireplace, and captivating unobstructed panoramic views of the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, City Lights, and Saddleback Mountains.
Liza’s reputation for trustworthiness, quality, integrity, and client satisfaction makes her Aliso Viejo’s luxury realtor of choice.
How did you balance this transaction, representing both the buyer and seller?
I was able to keep both my clients’ best interests in mind throughout the transaction and I’m proud to say I have two VERY happy clients. Both the sellers and buyers are now not only past clients, but my friends for life. The property is truly one of kind, with romance and grandeur inside and out.
Thanks to First Team’s extensive online syndication and our affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, I was able to provide my sellers far-reaching exposure to high-net-worth, qualified buyers all over the world. That made finding the right buyer easy, and my weekly listing report showed my clients the extraordinary amount of exposure we were able to provide their home.
How did you become an expert in the local market?
I lived in the gated community of Kensington Estates in the Westridge area of Aliso Viejo which is such a beautiful neighborhood with amazing neighbors and friends. In fact, I’ve been a resident and raised my two children, Everett and Jade, here since 1998. They went through the public school system, participated in local competitive sports through Novaquatics swim at SOKA University and national gymnastics in Aliso Viejo, and thrived academically. I am a ‘regular’ at the Renaissance Club Sport gym, Corpus Christi Church, and local restaurants and entertainment establishments in the local area including Laguna Niguel, Newport, and Laguna Beach.
I know the city and the surrounding areas now like the back of my hand. I love the wide range of real estate that Aliso Viejo has to offer, and I have a keen eye for luxury homes. Aligned with First Team/Christie’s, I’m able to do what I love and ensure my clients’ success in the local market at every price point.
Amid your impressive business growth, how have you grown personally?
I believe that it is the heartbreak of challenging times which gives us the greatest desire to grow and change things in our lives for the better. We all just recently got through one of the most historic events on the planet, the global Coronavirus pandemic and economic shutdown, and I feel like that only makes this accomplishment for my clients that much sweeter.
If you could sell anyone’s house – alive or dead – who would it be and why?
The late great legend Kobe Bryant! I have always been a Laker girl through and through, watching games and attending Laker parades. His tragic death along with his baby girl Gianna breaks my heart. I feel that helping out his wife Vanessa and his surviving and beautiful daughters would not only serve Kobe, but it would make my heart swell with love to help them move on to their next journey in life.
