Blythe is an agricultural city in Riverside County, nestled in the Palo Verde Valley, along the Colorado River near the California/Arizona border. With a population of approximately 12,000, Blythe is situated in the Sonoran Desert, which extends from Sonora Mexico through the southern portions of Arizona and California. To the north along U.S. Route 95 are the communities of Lost Lake and Vidal, while the community of Ripley is to the south on State Route 78. Blythe Airport is just east of town on Interstate 10 making the rest of Southern California’s recreational activities and attractions easily accessible.
