Aguanga is a town of 2,309 people, nestled among the boulders, rocks and valleys of the high desert. Although very hot and dry during the summer months, Aguanga has a creek that runs along the foot of the mountains and plentiful wells, and therefore it makes sense that Aguanga means “land of water.” While there is not a formal suburban residential area or a town center, it offers country living just 18 miles east of Temecula and 23 miles south of Hemet, making it a wonderfully private, yet accessible place to live in Riverside County.
