Balboa Beach

Situated close to the Balboa Pier, the Balboa Beach is a gorgeous stretch of sand that combines an untouched-natural feel and a more developed outdoor space to create a popular beach-going destination. On the southernmost end of the beach lies an array of sand dunes. Heading away from the dunes and traveling north, you’ll find a paved path that’s used by walkers, joggers, and bikers, bringing them all the way past the famous Newport Beach Pier.

Balboa Beach has plenty of parking available on the surrounding streets and has lots of great amenities, too, like restrooms, and volleyball courts. Plus, pets are allowed on the beach during certain designated hours, before 10 am and after 4:30 pm.
